**R-U-A Jacket Junky - (1 1/2 hr)
See an inspiring trunk show of jackets developed from one original pattern. Patty will share tips on how to achieve a professional looking jacket inside and out. Information includes fitting challenges, interfacing, fabric and pattern choices, setting in a perfect sleeve and a lining technique that is quick, unique and beautiful.

This lecture is for groups interested in garment construction.
**Expression on Cloth  (1 1/2hr)
An inspirational trunk show of fine embellished clothing.  Adding your own personal touch to the surface of cloth is fun and easy giving you a product that is an expression of you.  See all types of surface design from adding color, glitz, glamour, textures and trims.  Patty will also explain the easiest way to transfer your design on ready to wear garments or how to plan the embellishment as you are sewing them together. (Quick and Easy Bias Jacket is a good companion workshop)
This lecture is for groups interested in learning new techniques for no-sew embellishment.  


**Designed to Change  - (1 1/2 hr)        
Once you have a pattern that fits why put your efforts into fitting another?  Be your own designer and change that pattern into anything your heart desires.  Patty will explain in detail how to draft new designs from the basic pattern that already fits.

**Trims Glorious Trims! (1 1/2 hr)    
  One of the hottest trends right now is trim.  Patty shares fast and easy ways to make and apply your own trims using yarns, cords, ribbons and threads.  Why purchase trims when you can make your own much cheaper and accent your clothes, purses, shoes and crafts perfectly.  Patty's samples will inspire you to look at options for making and apply trims in a whole new way.

 **Design Your Own Handbags -   (1 1/2 hrs)  
Use your creativity to the fullest and be the designer. Handbags are so popular and a great way to show your artistic flair.   With a few easy steps you will learn about designing shapes, flaps and strap that will take your imagination on an exciting journey.  This class is full of inspiration to produce purses that are sleek, sophisticated, recycled with jeans, or trimmed to the max.  Open your mind to endless possibilities!


Workshops -

**Quick and Easy Bias Jacket:  (1 day)
Make this easy jacket in just a few hours.  The morning session we will sew the jacket together and also apply our color with ink and shaving cream!  After lunch we will decorate the jacket by stamping, stenciling and using glitters and foils.  This class has a kit with a choice of  White silk broadcloth   -  Or white rayon
(limit 20 students)

**Jacket from Fit to Finish  (2  day)  
Make a lined jacket with Patty using her  "A Jacket Fit For You" pattern.  Patty has
sample jackets made in each pattern size.  You try it on and know where to adjust
before you cut it out.   (limit 15 students)

**Purse Gone Crazy:  (1 day)  
You will make a in-jean-ious handbag using an old pair of jeans and your imagination.  Learn how to apply trims, embellishment and play with decorative stitches on the sewing machine to hide raw edges.  Pockets are customized to your needs.  This is patchwork taken to a new level, but watch out - everyone will want one!   

**Soft Sculpture  (3 hrs or morning)
Puppet - 3 hrs or morning    Birth a Mae Bea Baby - Soft sculpt this
       realistic looking dolls head and hands.  

**Heirloom Doll Dress - (4  hrs  or afternoon)  
Make a gown for Mae Bea Baby and learn wing needle work and doll dress making techniques.     
       (Soft Sculpture and Heirloom Doll Dress can be a 1 day class)
